LAS VEGAS - Recent Washington State graduate Alivia Brown earned her first win as a professional Wednesday on the fourth stop of the Catus Tour in Las Vegas. Brown, one of the most decorated Cougars in program history, completed the tournament with a six-under, 210 – four strokes ahead of Gigi Stoll and Sophia Popov from Tigard, Ore. and Germany, respectfully. Through the tournament, Brown carded impressive rounds – posting 10 birdies through the three rounds. Brown previously picked up a top-10 finish in July on the Cactus Tour, tying for sixth at two-over par in the summer event.
