AZUSA, Calif. -- Washington State's finished fourth and took seventh at the Mt. SAC Relays/California Invitational heptathlon at Azusa Pacific University Thursday.
Competing in the elite Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC) Relays Invitational heptathlon, Brooks-Johnson, a redshirt junior from Doty, Wash., finished in fourth place overall but was the second-best collegian with a total of 5,616 points. She long jumped a wind-aided 18-4 1/2w (5.60m) and threw the javelin a distance of 133-5 (40.68m). She finished with the event with an 800m time of 2:17.58.
