PULLMAN, Wash.-- Washington State track and field graduate students Sam Brixey and Colton Johnson punched their tickets for the 2022 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, March 11-12 in Birmingham, Ala.

In his final meet as a Washington State track and field team member, the two-time Indoor All-American Sam Brixey will compete in the 60m hurdle event. He qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships with a personal record time of 7.69, the 12th fastest time in the NCAA this season. His mark also tied Kip Ngeno's 47-year-old record for the fastest 60m hurdle time in WSU History.
