SEATTLE -- The old adage goes 'it's not how you start, it's how you finish' held true on Saturday afternoon for the Washington State University women's basketball team, as the Cougars scored 29 points against the University of Washington in the fourth quarter to overcome a slow start against the Huskies, and collect a 66-59 come-from-behind victory.
Redshirt senior Borislava Hristova tallied a game-high 20 points in the win against the Huskies to become the first Washington State women's basketball player to score over 2,000 points in her career. She now has 2,006 career points, as Hristova becomes the 23rd player in Pac-12 history to achieve the milestone on the women's side.
