WSU gets its fourth in-state commit of the 2016 recruiting class
Washington State nabbed its fourth in-state athlete in the 2016 recruiting class on Thursday with a commitment from Bellevue quarterback Justus Rogers.
Rogers, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound dual threat quarterback, is rated a three-star recruit by Rivals.com. He threw for 900 yards last season, with nine touchdown passes, and also had 400 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.
He’s the second quarterback to verbal to the Cougs as part of the 2016 recruiting class. Cody Brewer, from Flour Bluff High in Corpus Christi, Texas committed to WSU as a quarterback in August.
