Everyone knew Emily Lundgren was going to be a great swimmer from the time she was very young, except Emily. When she was about 10 years old she began to notice the extent of her abilities, and after breaking a 10-and-under record and winning a majority of her meets, she realized, "Hey, wait a minute. I kinda like winning."
Originally, swimming wasn't even on Lundgren's mind.
