HONOLULU – Washington State University concluded its season-opening weekend by capturing seven of nine matches Saturday during the final day of play at the Weinman Foundation Invitational at the UH Tennis Complex. The Cougars, host Hawaii and Cal State Northridge comprise the three-team event, which features singles and doubles matches, though no team scores were kept. Cougar freshman Michaela Bayerlova was named the winner of the Green Bracket as she went undefeated, winning both of her matches in straight sets. For the day, the Cougars won two of three doubles matches and five of six singles matches.
