Barber files petition with Whitman County Superior Court to stay suspension from WSU

As expected, Robert Barber has filed a petition for a stay in his suspension from Washington State University. Stefanie Loh with The Seattle Times reports that Barber could be back in the classroom as soon as Nov. 14 which means he could be on the field for the game against the Colorado Buffaloes. Whether he would play or not would be up to Mike Leach but he has previously said that if Barber is eligible, he will suit up.

Barber’s attorney Stephen Graham filed the petition in Whitman County Superior today, telling Loh he wants Barber to get back on track to finishing his criminal justice degree for which he needs to complete just one more class.
