Bail set at $350,000 for suspect in deadly Federal Way drive-by

A judge set bail at $350,000 for a Tacoma man suspected of fatally shooting a 20-year-old Seattle man in Federal Way last week.

Bail was set at $350,000 for a Tacoma man who was arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting in Federal Way last week that left a 20-year-old dead and two other young men wounded.

Maurice L. Oatts, 21, was arrested Wednesday on investigation of first-degree murder and first-degree assault in the death of 20-year-old Muldhata Dawud. On Thursday, a King County District Court judge found probable cause to hold Oatts in custody pending charges.
