GOLD RIVER, Calif. – All three of ninth-ranked Washington State University rowing’s boats advanced to the A/B Final and are guaranteed a 12th place or better individual finish after the first day of racing at the 2015 NCAA Championships, Friday, at Lake Natoma at Gold River, Calif.
Both the second varsity eight and varsity four crews advanced to the A/B Final directly from their first heats Friday, while the varsity eight advanced via the Repechage race in the afternoon. The first two finishers from each of the four morning heats advanced directly to the A/B Finals, while the others had to return for afternoon racing.
