PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State track and field's Ja'Maun Charles and rowing's Sue Yu have been named the Academic Services Student-Athletes of the Month of May 2021.
A senior sprinter and longer jumper on the WSU track and field team, Charles has shown his success throughout his career at Washington State both on and off the track. Currently, Charles has a grade point average of 3.49 as he looks to finish up his Master's in Business Administration (MBA) this summer. The Pleasanton, California native recently qualified for the NCAA West Preliminaries in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dash, which will take place this week in College Station, Texas.
