The WSU Cougars appear to have finally landed their running back in the 2016 class as Romello Harris has verbally committed, according to Brandon Huffman of Scout.com.
Harris -- from Tulare, California -- is rated a composite 3-star player by 247sports.com, and he reportedly held offers from Washington, Duke, Navy and a slew of midmajors out west, including Air Force. He also had an offer from Army, and USC and UCLA also were sniffing around.
247sports.com rates Harris as the best player in the Cougars' 2016 class; Scout.com ranks him the eighth best running back in the west.
