In Case You Missed It
PULLMAN, Wash. – The No. 9 Washington State soccer team (10-0-0, 3-0-0) remained the only perfect team in the nation after defeating Oregon State (1-10-0, 0-3-0) Sunday at Lower Soccer Field, 2-0. The Cougars dominated the offensive game, finishing with 34 shots and eight corner kicks. Senior came up with the first goal of the game and her fourth goal of the season after shot ricocheted off her defender in the 20'. Taking the rebound, O'Neill struck a low bending left footed strike that skimmed off the grass and just over the outstretched Beavers' keeper to give the Cougars their first goal of the game.
