Coming out of the bye week, many pointed to two games that the Redskins would have a chance at winning down the stretch. They came against the Jets and the Giants.
However, Detroit being a beatable opponent has been overlooked a bit. With Matthew Stafford out, the Redskins could have a chance to defeat the Jeff Driskel-led Lions as they look to bounce back from a horrific outing against the Jets.
For the rest of the season, the wins and losses don’t matter for the ‘Skins. They’re competing for the top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft so if anything, winning could hurt them a bit.
