The NFL will officially release their preliminary 2020 schedule on Thursday night. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, this process, usually completed before the NFL Draft, had been put off a bit so that the league could assess the state of the world before committing to anything.
But now, the league has decided to release the schedule. And while the schedule could have some quirks to protect against the potential cancellation of any early-season games, NFL fans will have something to look forward to in the future.
