Report: Redskins interviewing Tim Rattay for quarterbacks coach opening

One of the lone vacancies that appear to be available on the Redskins current coaching staff comes at quarterbacks coach. With the elevation of Kevin O’Connell to offensive coordinator, the team needs to add a QB coach. They have already interviewed Ken Zampese and Bill Lazor for the position, but they are looking into another candidate on Thursday.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Redskins are meeting with Louisiana Tech QB coach Tim Rattay to discuss the job. Rattay has been a member of the Louisiana Tech staff since 2013 and has seven years of playing experience in the NFL.
