When the Redskins used their newly acquired third round selection in the 2018 NFL Draft that they got from the San Francisco 49ers for moving back in the second round on an offensive tackle, many fans went, “what”. Now that we’ve had a few weeks to digest the pick of Geron Christian, many fans are now going “heck yeah”.
Offensive tackle was certainly not one of the team’s top needs heading into the offseason, and after watching the first two picks unfold, we could all see the team was certainly drafting for need.
