The Washington Redskins added necessary depth for their defensive line when they agreed to a contract with veteran end Arthur Jones.
A source said the Redskins would make the signing official by Wednesday morning, but Jones had posted a photo of himself on his Instagram account signing papers while at the team’s facility. They had yet to make a corresponding move to free up a roster spot as of Tuesday night. They have 12 offensive linemen on the roster, but with so many injuries they felt forced to carry that many. They typically keep eight or nine.
