Morgan Moses to have ankle surgery: report

Redskins right tackle Morgan Moses will have ankle surgery Thursday, ESPN reported.

A source told the Washington Times that noted foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson will preform the surgery. Moses will travel Wednesday to Charlotte, where Anderson is located.

Moses, who played all 16 games this season, had been dealing with sore ankles throughout the year. Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins said Friday that Moses‘ soreness was actually torn ligaments.

Moses, according to ESPN’s John Keim, will only have surgery on one ankle, even though he dealt with pain in both during the season.
