WASHINGTON - The Nationals list seven outfielders on their 60-player pool and only two of them do not have Major League experience.
But that could change soon, as Yadiel Hernandez – 32 and from Cuba – was added to the active roster on Thursday, a day after Howie Kendrick went on the Injured List.
That leaves Jeremy De La Rosa, 18, as the only outfielder at the alternate site in Virginia who has never been on a Major League roster.
Hernandez will get his shot now.
