Wire Taps: Washington Nationals should bat Anthony Rendon first; Imagine Kenley Jansen on the Nats; Enny Romero has no damage in forearm

We’re still doing this, huh. Pre-emptive Wire Taps. Hey, at least Max Scherzer is still alive!

The Nats should bat Anthony Rendon first, because why not
Rendon creates runs at a 52 percent higher rate than average -- but is sixth in the Nats' batting order. If the Nats put him second, they might shift things around, but he doesn't fit there. Where he does fit is in the leadoff role, walking a lot, doing well with no outs -- he could set the table perfectly in the absence of Trea Turner.
