Wire Taps: Stephen Strasburg strikes out 14 Marlins; Nationals expect Sean Doolittle and Ryan Zimmerman back today

Stephen Strasburg is rolling, retiring 22-straight hitters after back-to-back, one-out singles in the top of the first, with a 6-0 lead after three, against a Miami Marlins team that hasn’t won a game on the road in August... (0-13 going into last night’s game, 0-14 in August when it was over).

At that point, does manager Davey Martinez just relax and watch Strasburg work as a fan... with a really good seat?

“I was able to sit down for a lot of the game and watch him,” Martinez said with a laugh on Saturday night, after what ended up a 7-0 win, “but when he gets in that zone, which he’s been in that zone a lot this year, and very proud of what he’s done this year, but yeah, he’s fun to watch, you still got to manage the game but he’s really fun to watch.
