The Nationals made a signing, and it filled a much more gaping hole than anything else they’ve done this offseason beyond their early season bullpen acquisitions. Brian Dozier, for what it’s worth, represents the third straight lefty hitter at second for the Nats, following Murphy (L), and Espinosa (switch).
