Of all the teams they've played this year, of all the series, and of all the ballparks, the Nationals just can't beat the San Diego Padres. If anyone has a legitimate explanation for that, please let me know.
It looks like the Nats aren't going to get Aroldis Chapman
The Cubs are pushing forward with their efforts to land Chapman (names like Jorge Soler and Javier Baez have popped up) and it's looking more and more as if the Nationals will need to look elsewhere.
