The Nationals looked absurdly hot coming out of their series against the Detroit Tigers; Max Scherzer tied a major league record, Clint Robinson hit a walk-off home run, and Anthony Rendon looked like he was ready to finally break out. Then came the Miami Marlins. Even during wins on Friday and Saturday, it seemed as if all the energy had been sucked out of the Nats by the Fish as Washington stumbled to a 2-2 record on the weekend. Then again, when was the last time the Nationals and Marlins played a high energy game?
