Where’s the rain when you need it, Phillies 12-2 over Nationals in series opener in D.C.

It was supposed to rain all night in the nation’s capital, but it never did, at least not while the Washington Nationals and Philadelphia Phillies were playing their series opener in Nationals Park. The visitors jumped on Nats’ starter Tanner Roark early, and the Phils put up 12 runs on 15 hits in what ended up a 12-2 win.
