Clint Robinson was one of the more pleasant surprises of Spring Training for the Nationals, batting .320 with five doubles, a triple, and two home runs. As the Nats return from their road trip, Robinson is second on the team with a .316 batting average. What does his fast start mean?
It doesn't mean all that much.
I could end the article right here, but that wouldn't make for a very entertaining read, would it? Robinson's off to a nice start, but it doesn't seem like it would be a real bright idea to put too much emphasis on his nineteen plate appearances.
