As a kid playing baseball, Josh Norman often thought he was Ken Griffey Jr. when he stepped up to the plate.
“Then it didn’t go so hot,” he said.
The Redskins cornerback’s career obviously went a different path, but he was back in the batting cages Sunday. Norman was a participant in MLB’s celebrity All-Star Game — which took place later that evening.
“This was actually the first sport I played, to be honest with you,” Norman said. “It brings back some memories every time you’ve got a bat in your hand. It’s like riding a bike.
