Washington Nationals starter Jefry Rodriguez has a huge task in front of him, trying to tame the Philadelphia Phillies. But we’ve seen flashes on his potential, and if he can tap into it he’ll have some success.
So far, Rodriguez has made two big league appearances with the Nationals. An impressive emergency outing against the Atlanta Braves, but then a dud against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday.
But among those two performances, there’s been plenty to be hopeful about. The young right-hander has flashed a great fastball that sits in the mid-90s, and one that he locates well.
