Washington’s Nationals have one heck of a rotation. According to multiple reports today, the Nationals and free agent left-hander Patrick Corbin have agreed on a 6-year/$140M deal, pending completion of a physical.
Washington Post writer Chelsea Janes was first with reports that the deal was done.
Corbin, 29, visited the nation’s capital recently on his tour of a couple of interested East Coast teams, and Nats’ GM Mike Rizzo told reporters this past weekend that the visit went well and he thought something might happen sooner rather than later.
“I think that he’s not afraid to do something early,” Rizzo said.
