According to a report on Twitter tonight by FanRagSports.com’s Jon Heyman, veteran corner infielder Mark Reynolds has agreed to a deal with the Washington Nationals.
The 34-year-old, 11-year veteran played for the Colorado in 2016-17, with 22 doubles, 30 home runs, and a .267/.352/.487 line in 148 games and 598 plate appearances in 2017 with the Rockies, over which he was worth 0.8 fWAR, his highest total since 2010, though he hit 21 of his 30 home runs in Coors Field, where he had a .294/.393/.584 line vs .242/.311/.392 away from Denver.
Washington Post writer Jorge Castillo too has now reported that his own sources confirmed Heyman’s report.
