WASHINGTON – The season ended earlier this month for the Harrisburg Senators, the Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals.
But the year wasn’t over for two right-handed pitchers who were in the rotation late in the season for the Senators.
Jackson Tetreault, a seventh-round pick by the Nationals in 2017, made his first Triple-A appearance on Sunday for the Rochester Red Wings.
He went five scoreless innings and gave up no runs and had seven strikeouts and allowed four hits. ‘
He took over for starter Luis Reyes, who gave up three runs without recording an out in the first inning.
