Stone Garrett returned to the field for Spring Training this year, only months after he’d suffered a broken left fibula and a torn ligament in his ankle trying to make a play at the outfield wall in Yankee Stadium in late August 2023.
Garrett, 28, who debuted in the majors in 2022, after a long, unique road to the big leagues, told reporters when he came up for the final days of the 2024 campaign, it was like debuting again.
