With the Nationals trailing 2-1 in the eighth inning on Friday night in the nation’s capital, Alex Call singles with one out, moved to third on a single by Luis García, Jr., and scored the tying on a sac fly by Juan Yepez, 2-2. Call came up again in the home-half of the 10th, and the 29-year-old outfielder battled flamethrowing LA Angels’ reliever Ben Joyce for six pitches, then hit a 99.1 MPH fastball low and away through the right side of the infield for a walk-off hit, 3-2 Washington.
