We start off today’s Daily with an update on the latest roster moves for the Nationals. As MLB.com’s Bill Ladson writes below, the club continued to trim down the roster after making seven cuts Monday.
Brian Goodwin and Sammy Solis were optioned to Triple-A Syracuse. The team sent left-hander Nick Lee, catcher Spencer Kieboom and infielder Chris Bostick to Double-A Harrisburg. The team also reassigned two players, Matt Skole and Logan Schafer, to minor league camp.
