Good afternoon DoD readers, and welcome to today’s District Daily. Get caught up on the latest Nats news and opinions with some great Washington Nationals articles from around the web below.
In today’s Daily, MLB.com’s Bill Ladson gives us an update on the status of Nationals infielder Danny Espinosa. As Ladson notes, Espinosa’s hamstring injury will likely keep him out for the rest of the season.
Of course, the fact that Espinosa is likely out for the season isn’t too surprising. The Nationals are not likely to make the postseason, and there’s really no reason to try to rush him back for the last week of the season.
