Good evening DoD readers, and welcome to today’s District Daily. Get caught up on the latest Nats news and opinions with some great Washington Nationals articles from around the web below.

In today’s Daily, MLB.com’s Bill Ladson discusses the progress of injured right-hander Bronson Arroyo. As Ladson notes, Arroyo is recovering from what once seemed like a career-ending shoulder injury and is looking to begin a rehab assignment in July.

Arroyo suffered partial tears in his rotator cuff tendons during Spring Training. As Ladson notes, the right-hander planned to retire if the injury required surgery. Fortunately for Arroyo, he was able to avoid surgery and has improved with rest and strengthening exercises.
