Over the past week, the Nationals have won series against the National League’s last two World Series representatives. They took two out of three from the D-Backs before coming oh so close to sweeping the defending champion Dodgers.
However, this upcoming road trip might be even more important to the Nats season. They are facing arguably the three worst teams in the NL in the Marlins, Pirates, and Rockies. This will be a perfect chance for the Nats to get their record above .500 when they come home again.
The Nationals went 18-8 against these three teams last season, and they will look for similar success this time around.
