Washington’s Nationals are 21-9 in their last 30 games. 21-9. 21. You get it. Don’t stop now, Nats.
As manager Davey Martinez said last night, his club is embracing his simplistic (in a good way) approach to the season: Go 1-0 every day.
“They all understand the ‘1-0’,” Martinez said, ‘what the ‘1-0’ means, and that’s what they want to do, is go 1-0 today.”
“We’re doing everything right,” Nats’ first baseman Matt Adams told reporters in Marlins Park, where he went 2 for 10 with two three-run home runs this week.
