Looking for positives from Saturday’s sloppy 10-4 loss to the San Francisco Giants, skipper Davey Martinez said afterwards that the Washington Nationals did not play a good game, but they did stay in the and fight till the end of the second game of three in Oracle Park this weekend.
“We didn’t play very good today, all around,” Martinez said. “But as you can see, we didn’t give in. We scored some runs late, they fought to the end. But I want to come out tomorrow you know, and go 1-0 tomorrow and leave the first half on a good note and win tomorrow.
