Washington’s Nationals connected for 15 hits, scored six runs, and went 3 for 11 with runners in scoring position in Sunday’s 6-2 win over the Atlanta Braves in the nation’s capital.
Adam Eaton, Bryce Harper, Anthony Rendon, Juan Soto, and Daniel Murphy all had multi-hit games, Max Scherzer battled through a less-than-stellar start, and the bullpen put up three scoreless innings as the Nationals added runs late after jumping out to a 3-0 lead.
“Bryce is slowly but surely starting to become the Bryce that we all know,” Davey Martinez told reporters after the win.
