Washington Nationals’ skipper Davey Martinez has been clear from the start that he’s going to mix things up with his lineups until he finds something he likes. And even then, there will likely be changes as he tries to get everyone at bats and keep all his players sharp.
Martinez was asked last week, with Ryan Zimmerman off to a slow start and in the cleanup spot in the lineup, how committed he was to keeping the veteran where he was early this season.
“I’m very committed,” Martinez said. “His at bats haven’t been bad, they haven’t been.
