Injuries are always a teams worst fear of any Major League Baseball team during Spring Training, and on Tuesday the Washington Nationals were the victim of the injury bug.
Howie Kendrick, the team’s veteran backup utility man, is once again faced to deal with an injury as he hurt his hamstring running out a groundball.
Kendrick came up limping while running the ball out and was forced to be pinch ran for right after. Nationals manager Davey Martinez and Kendrick himself confirmed he would have an MRI tomorrow to determine the extent of the injury.
