Enny Romero left an outing against the Arizona Diamondbacks on July 23rd with back spasms, so when he was lifted in the middle of the sixth inning tonight in Miami, the assumption was that his back had acted up again.
Apparently it was a forearm strain, however, according to what Washington’s skipper Dusty Baker told reporters after the Washington Nationals’ 7-0 loss to the Marlins.
“No, he had — in his forearm, he had like a tightness in his forearm,” Baker said, “it spasmed, and same thing as a strain, so we’re going to use precaution on Enny.
