A night after blowing a 5-0 lead, the Washington Nationals jumped ahead of the Atlanta Braves early again in the second of four between the NL East rivals in the nation’s capital, up 5-0 again after three, and they led 7-4 after eight, but the visitors scored three runs in the top of the ninth to tie things up at 7-7, and it went to extras where the Nationals won it in the 12th on a Michael A. Taylor single, 8-7.
Fedde vs the Braves (again): Erick Fedde gave up six hits (3 homers), four walks, and four earned runs in 3 2⁄3 IP when he faced the Braves in Atlanta last weekend.
