In the first three games of Spring Training, the Washington Nationals have scored 31 runs. There have been a lot of standout hitters, with a lot of guys looking very comfortable in the box. Is this just February noise or a good sign moving forward?
Obviously Spring Training stats should mostly be thrown out the window, but it is hard not to be impressed by some of the Nationals bats. They have not faced very much high end pitching yet, but I have loved the approach of a lot of the hitters. Nationals hitters have been working counts and waiting for pitches to drive.
