Aaron Barrett and James Bourque both left the mound with apparent arm issues over the weekend in Miami.
Before the start of a four-game series with the Philadelphia Phillies this afternoon, Nationals’ manager Davey Martinez updated reporters on the status of both relievers.
Barrett, Washington’s third-year skipper said, was, “feeling better, but he’s still pretty sore.”
“We’re going to probably — I would assume we’re going to have to do something,” Martinez added, “... but I don’t want to make that assumption until he comes in today and we talk to him.
