The Washington Nationals made a deal with the Chicago White Sox on Friday to acquire outfielder Ryan Raburn.
Raburn has spent this season playing for the Charlotte Knights, the White Sox’s Triple-A organization.
Raburn was hitting .277 with three home runs and 13 RBI in 27 games. The trade came a day after former Nationals’ pitcher Lucas Giolito threw a no-hitter for the Knights.
Raburn is an 11-year major league veteran, who holds a career .253 BA to go along with 91 home runs, 352 RBIs and a .
