The Washington Nationals and Tampa Bay Rays are reportedly interested in Detroit Tigers closer Justin Wilson.
According to MLB Network's Jon Morosi, the Nats have a continuing interest in Wilson and would like to add a reliever, possibly a starter, as well. Morosi notes that the Nationals still have their top five pitching prospects available after yesterday's deal that sent Blake Treinen to the Oakland Athletics in exchange for Sean Doolittle and Ryan Madson.
A surprise contender at the trade deadline, the Rays "have expressed legit interest" in Wilson, per Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times.
