Rendon feels good following 1st rehab game

WASHINGTON -- Nationals infielder Anthony Rendon, who went 2-for-2 with a double for Class A Advanced Potomac on Saturday, said it felt good to get back out on the field and get used to the baseball atmosphere. He will play third base during his rehab assignment.

Rendon has played only 18 games this season because of a left MCL sprain and a left quad strain. Throughout the downtime, Rendon has kept his spirits up.

"You always have to keep the faith," Rendon said. "You have to thank the man upstairs for the good and the bad. It's not always going to be good.
